There is nothing better than a Sun Salutation in the morning or anytime you need a lift!
Do you want to form a new good habit? Do you want to feel invigorated in the morning? Doing this sequence takes less than 10 minutes a day, even 5 minutes if you go quickly enough. You will see the health benefits of yoga quicker than you think.
This the perfect beginner yoga routine. You don’t need to commit to a longer class, it’s just movement. What is different is that it’s mindful movement. Yoga and mindfulness are two components that can improve your overall body and mental health. You take yourself out of your “thinking brain” and only focus on each pose. This allows your mind to shift into a state of positivity and productivity. And it’s only 5-10 minutes out of your day.
Join us for a challenge of doing 5 Sun Salutations every day for 30 days. It’s healthy, achievable and you will feel better afterwards! In January, we will have a combination of live and recorded videos to follow along. Follow us on Facebook to join the vids. Please comment as well, it would be great to hear from you!

FAQ’s
Q: Why do you need to do the poses and focus on breathing at the same time?
A: In vinyasa flow yoga, it focuses on the mind – body – breathing connection. These components work together to improve your body awareness. When was the last time you listened to your body? The breathing taps into your nervous system, helping you feel calmer and happier.
Q: Is this Sun Salutation challenge only yoga for beginners or suitable for more experienced yoga practitioners?
A: Most people would agree that taking the time to break down the basic poses slowly can be helpful for beginners AND very relaxing for those with more experience. It is suitable for all levels. No matter what experience you have, we all need motivation to get back into a wellness routine!
Q: Will each day be the same Sun Salutation sequence?
A: Each day, we will teach something different, as there are many variations of Sun Salutations. We will also add a different pose in as well, which is the great thing about this specific flowing sequence.
Q: What time will you post these videos?
A: The videos will be posted between 7-8am each day in January on our Facebook page. Follow us to get notifications of any live videos.
Q: What happens if I miss a day or start the challenge at a different time?
A: All videos will be on our Facebook page. We will also add these videos to our free yoga videos page too so you can do them anytime. They will also be located in our “Short videos” section of our video library. You can also do them on your own, once you feel comfortable with the sequence, and it doesn’t need to be exact. It’s just great that you want to get your body moving!
Q: What happens if I want more than a 5 Sun Salutation challenge?
