Online yoga classes –
Ready for 2021

First online yoga class of 2021 completed

It’s great to be back…and I loved teaching this morning’s 7.30am vinyasa flow class.

Hope 2021 proves to be a ‘better’ year for us all – one thing is for sure, there will be more adapting to the situation ahead. Maybe it will be better as we get more used to having to make those adjustments and deal with those uncertainties.

Shannon and I have had a good 10 days off from teaching – like everyone else it’s important to take some time out, recharge and reset.

What’s more, it was lovely to get a note back from a student joining the class for the first time –

“I  really enjoyed this morning’s class it’s exactly what I’m looking for I’ll defo be keeping this up x’

New Year – New Yoga Studio

Well – kind of- more a renovated (and improved) studio to host our live online yoga and face to face classes (when we are allowed to).

So, over the festive period we have been working on (rather than in) our studio. New flooring, underfloor heating, some new paint and we are good to go for 2021.

Thinking about it, this is actually version 3.0 of our studio since we started teaching in the studio. Not sure back in 2016, when we became yoga instructors, we would have ever envisaged the progress we think we have made.

Even back in 2016, it’s lovely to see Max getting involved and joining the classes. 2020 Max was so helpful in creating, with Shannon, our kids yoga package. It’ really is a family business!

Wellbeing at work

Over the last 12 months we have supported individuals, schools, sports clubs and businesses sharing our yoga practice with friends, colleagues and team members. Unsurprisingly, most of the year’s corporate yoga classes were provided online – though it did have the benefit of allowing colleagues from around the country to join. This had the added benefit of making the workplace yoga programme becoming more cost effective.

In light of the ongoing uncertainty and working from home- perhaps going online is a way to support the people around you. For many, myself included (Tim), I started yoga as a beginner by joining yoga classes provided by my employer back in 2010.

Is this something that would help you and your team whatever sector you are in, wherever you and your team are located?

If so please contact us to discuss how we can support you.
